Koen Beyers is Founder of Idevax and inventor of VAX-ID. He holds a master’s degree in Product Development from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. Koen is a true serial entrepreneur that bulges with creativity. He holds several patents and has a profound interest in innovation, product design, engineering, aerospace, automotive, and medical devices.
Prior to founding Idevax, Koen founded Novosanis in 2013 as a spin-off company of the University of Antwerp and specialized in medical devices, and became CTO. Novosanis is currently marketing Colli-Pee, suited for standardized collection of first void urine for detection of sexually transmitted infections, as well as cancer biomarkers (e.g. prostate cancer). He successfully led the company through the acquisition by Orasure Technologies Inc in Jan 2019.
Koen Beyers is also Founder of Voxdale (2005) and currently Board Member. Voxdale is a design and innovation agency in HealthTech, CleanTech and e-Mobility.
