Pierre Van Damme is full professor within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (Antwerp University). He is director of the Centre for the Evaluation of Vaccination and Vaccinopolis in Antwerp, Belgium. He has conducted more than 350 vaccine trials so far. His main research domains are infectious disease epidemiology and vaccinology.
