Highlights of the First 6 Months of 2026
The first half of 2026 has been an exciting and productive chapter for our team. Over the past six months, we’ve continued to build momentum in advancing reliable skin drug delivery through scientific innovation, collaboration, and community engagement. From presenting our work at international conferences and publishing new scientific content to welcoming new team members and expanding our online community, we’ve reached several important milestones.
In this blog, we’re looking back at some of the highlights and achievements that have shaped the first half of the year—and we’re excited to share what we’ve accomplished together.
1. Connecting with the Global Life Sciences Community
This year, we focused on engaging with partners, researchers, and innovators across the healthcare and life sciences sector. We participated in over 10 key events, with several of our team members.
Here’s what we attended:
- PharmaPack Europe, Paris, France
- Belgian Dermatology Days, Belgium
- Advanced Therapies Congress, London, UK
- BIO-Europe, Lisbon, Portugal
- LSX World Congress, Lisbon, Portugal
- Knowledge for Growth, Antwerp, Belgium
- Interreg – Crossroads & Crosscare, Tilburg, the Netherlands
- Immunity for Health, Brussels, Belgium
- TEDxFlanders, Antwerp, Belgium
- Skin Vaccination Summit, Cork, Ireland
- BIO International Convention, San Diego, US
These events gave us valuable opportunities to share our expertise, strengthen collaborations, and stay connected with the latest developments in the industry.

2. Supporting Global Health Awareness
Throughout the year, we recognised a range of awareness days that reflect our commitment to improving health worldwide. These included Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, International HPV Awareness Day, International Women’s Day, World Lymphedema Day, World Tuberculosis Day, World Immunization Week, Hepatitis B Awareness Month, Skin Cancer Awareness Month, and the European Week Against Cancer.

3. New Content & Projects
We published our latest white paper, “Unlocking Mucosal Immunity: The Untapped Potential of Intradermal Vaccination,” exploring the role of mucosal immunity, the benefits of intradermal vaccination, and how VAX-ID® enables reliable skin delivery of medical products.

We also joined ATMP XB, a cross-border Flemish-Dutch initiative dedicated to strengthening quality assurance and control for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs), supporting innovation in advanced therapy development.

4. Interns joining Our Team
We’re pleased to have welcomed several new interns to the Idevax team.
Gelashvili joined the QARA team while Elena Garcia and Stanley De Graef joined the R&D team. Their enthusiasm and fresh perspectives continue to contribute to our innovative culture.

5. Growing Our LinkedIn Community
Our LinkedIn community continued to expand during the first half of the year, with over 27,920 content impressions and more than 2,000 followers. Thank you to everyone who follows our journey and engages with our content.
