Highlights of the first 6 months of 2025
It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through 2025! Time has flown by, and what a dynamic and rewarding year it’s been so far. As we step into the second half of the year, we’re taking a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate the milestones we’ve reached together.
Our core values — curiosity, fun, and quality — remain at the heart of everything we do, shaping each initiative and experience as we continue moving forward.
Here are our top 8 highlights of the year in words and (pictures!):
1. Team Spirit in Action – We had a fantastic team-building event, starting with a City Hall tour, arranged upon invitation by the Alderman of Economics, Johan Klaps. We wrapped up the day with a team dinner. It was a great way to connect, unwind, and strengthen the bonds that drive our collaboration.
2. Upscaling and production expansion at Wijnegem – Production capacity at the Wijnegem site was expanded to meet growing market demand.
3. Major Milestone: CE Marking for VAX-ID® – One of our biggest achievements of the year: Idevax officially announced the CE Marking of our VAX-ID® intradermal drug delivery device. This marks a significant step forward in bringing our innovative technology to more healthcare providers and patients across Europe. Read more here.
4. Welcoming the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) – We had the pleasure of hosting the team from the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) during their visit to Belgium. It was a proud moment to showcase our CE-marked VAX-ID® device and give a behind-the-scenes tour of our manufacturing facility. Check out more details here.
5. Attending Global Conferences – Our team has been actively participating in leading industry events including Advanced Therapies, SuperNova, European Lymphatic Symposium, LSX World Congress, Knowledge for Growth, Cancer Vaccines Congress, and the BIO Convention. These gatherings provided great opportunities to connect, exchange ideas, and highlight our work on a global stage. Check out our events here.
6. WOMED Award – A Moment of Recognition –We were thrilled to see our CEO, Vanessa Vankerckhoven, recognized with the WOMED Award and named Female Entrepreneur of the Year. Her passion for science, innovation, and leadership in the medical device field continues to inspire our entire team. Read more details here.
